Language Acquisition
Most of us do not remember learning to speak our first language. It’s with the second language and others that we begin to think about a structure.
Is English new to you and it’s work to have a conversation? We can practice in a calm setting. I speak some Spanish and Portuguese and can help you to establish connections to words and build conversations.

Literature
From reading comprehension to complex elements of plot, understanding poems, plays and books can be intimidating at times.
Have you read the same paragraph over and over and still don’t understand what happened? I spent years studying literature from Hamlet to Frankenstein. I can help you know what’s happening from the text so you can take a test or write an essay.
Essay Writing
Knowing what to write helps, but how do you put it together the right way? I taught essay writing at middle school, high school and college levels. Expository, persuasive, discursive essay due? I’ve got you covered.
Writing is a skill that you will use again and again in school and in life. I’ve seen students get excited about learning how to do it for themselves.
